Dixie’s Legacy comes true.
Dixie would have been so proud of the hugely successful benefit held for the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter and dedicated to her. Dixie was a sweet dachshund adopted from the shelter whose legacy is helping other homeless animals.
Thanks to Angel and Jules for Others, and the hospitality of the Captain’s Inn in Forked River, the dining room was filled to capacity with generous supporters, delicious food, great music and an endless selection of outstanding auction gifts and prizes. The big winners of course were all the homeless pets who will be helped by the generous proceeds of the event. A video of shelter dogs and cats for adoption was on display.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Angel and Jules for their boundless energy and sincere dedication to helping animals. The result was an afternoon of fun and a generous donation to the Friends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter which will benefit so many homeless pets. Dixie’s tail is wagging in dog heaven. Thank you.
