DESCRIPTION:Come to the Manahawkin or Jackson shelter in Ocean County on August 15\, find your new furry family member and adoption fees will be waived! \nWe say it all the time… “Don’t shop\, Adopt!” Our Dog and Kitty Days of Summer Adoption Event is an opportunity for you to come down to the shelter\, if not to adopt but to see what your local community is doing to better the lives of these homeless paws! As the old saying goes… You don’t adopt a pet\, they adopt you. You may walk into the shelter and be rescued yourself. \nFriends of Southern Ocean County Animal Shelter is also using this opportunity to raise funds to continue doing what we do best… Support and Rescue our Paws! Our volunteers have the biggest hearts. They are the first to donate their personal funds\, time\, and energy to help an animal in need. So\, if you are not interested in adopting or visiting the facility\, come down to meet us\, FOSOCAS. We want to meet you! It would be nice to put a face to the “Likes\, Shares\, and Comments.” We are also having a bake sale at the shelter\, so come and enjoy some delicious baked good made by our volunteers! \nWe hope to see you there! Saturday\, August 15th\, 2015 from 1-4pm. \nSpread the word… All adoption fees are waived and we have an amazing cast of Paws and Volunteers for you to meet. \nWe’re in the Patch!
